This video features a museum trip, crazy Uber adventure, new foods, dance party with the women in the program, women's outing to the gardens, Alejandra picking up a turtle, Mateo beating us all in “nertz”, and Santiago!
Week two at Ciudad Refugio has been fantastic! We’re continuing our ministry work with the men and women in the program this week. In addition to this work we’ve gotten to go on prayer walks and get to know the city and all of its wonderful people outside of the foundation. A highlight of this week has been getting to talk and pray over the Venezuelans in the community. On Sunday, the foundation hosted a dinner for all the Venezuelan refugees in the area. This offered a time for Venezuelan families to be prayed over and encouraged. Please continue to pray for the people in Venezuela and the refugees looking for food, work, and homes in Colombia.
PRAYER REQUESTS:
- a few members of our team are feeling sick, please pray for strength and for no more sickness!
- the foundation and city are loud early in the morning and at night, please pray for good sleep and lots of energy to be able to serve to the best of our abilities.
- Here in Medellín, stop signs are optional and pedestrians do not have the right away, please pray none of us get hit by a car ;)
